The Tucked Tie

[Jacket] Dstrezzed [Shirt] Burberry [Chinos] Hamaki-Ho [Tie] Altea Milano [Pocket Square] Neill Katter [Shoes] Nobrand Shoes [Bag] Bric's Milano [Scarf] Valentino [Sunglasses] Marc Jacobs

Today was a bit of a hectic day so todays look was all about comfort. I wore an unstructured cotton jacket that provided enough warmth for when the sun went behind the clouds but at the same time was comfortable enough to constantly be on the go. I decided to wear the "tucked in necktie” look, something that is not often seen and for the most part frowned upon. Whats your opinion on the look? I hope your week begins well. Enjoy!

Hints of Purple

[Blazer] L.B.M. 1911 [Shirt] Dolce & Gabbana [Trousers] Moschino [Hat] H&M [Tie] S. Oliver Collection [Brogues] Boemos [Bag] Fossil [Sunglasses] Paul Smith [Pocket Square] Profuomo

The base to this outfit is very simple. It starts with pieces that we all have in our wardrobe, a beige suit jacket, a striped shirt and blue trousers. Then I had a little fun and went overboard on accessories. Camo is one of my favorite prints to add a bit of casualness to tailored menswear, so I decided to wear a camo necktie. Then to bring in some color I paired a purple paisley pocket square with purple brogues. Finally I put on some bracelets, a hat, sunglasses and even a wallet chain. Then of course a bag to hold all my daily essentials. I hope you enjoy the look.

Getting Raunchy in Givenchy

[T-Shirt] Givenchy [Jeans] Nudie Jeans [Sneakers] Nike [Sunglasses] Emporio Armani

I have always felt that perfectly tailored and fitted pieces are what make men stand out in the crowd. There is something special about putting on a perfectly fitted suit, it’s like a second skin and it assures that you will be feeling great all day. However it’s important to understand that menswear is not all suits and ties. This Givenchy T-shirt was one of those impulse purchases that seems to never leave my closet. Well today it saw the sun at a beautiful park in Hamburg. I wore it with black jeans from Nudie Jeans and a pair of Nike Air Max.

The Vest

[Shirt] Scotch & Soda [Waistcoat] WE Fashion [Tie] Olymp [Jeans] The Kooples [Penny Loafers] G.H. Bass & Co [Belt] Diesel [Bracelets] Massimo Dutti [Sunglasses] Marc Jacobs [Laptop Sleeve] Missoni

A vest or waistcoat is typically worn in the colder months as an added layer of warmth under a suit jacket or coat but it can just as easily be styled as your outer layer. The key to pulling this look off is to wear a slim fitting vest that ends just at the waistline. Traditionally a vest is not accessorized with a pocket square but I suggest giving it a try. Start wearing this modern mens essential and hit the streets in style!

Flower Power

[Sports Coat] Sisley [Shirt] Dolce & Gabbana [Trousers] Ben Sherman [Monkstrap Shoes] Tiger of Sweden [Sunglasses] Dior [Portfolio] Michael Kors [Eyeglasses] Tods

The menswear world has seen many changes in the last few years. No longer are wearing prints and bright colors thought of as feminine. As a matter of fact floral prints have been a top mens trend for both summer and the upcoming fall and winter seasons. The safest way to wear it is by incorporating it into your accessories. Or if you’re a bit braver try a sports coat like this one I’m wearing from Sisley. Be brave and most importantly have fun!

Pineapples and Palms

[Blazer] Karl Lagerfeld [Shirt] Boss Orange [Tie] Minimum [Driving loafers] Prada [Sunglasses] Dior

A blue blazer is a staple in most mens wardrobe because it can so easily be dressed up with trousers and a dress shirt or be dressed down with a simple T-shirt and jeans. In this look I decided to go somewhere in between the two. I wore a two button single breasted blazer from Karl Lagerfeld with a crisp white pocket square from Pierre Cardin. A dark knit tie from the danish brand Minimum adds a bit of seriousness to this Boss Orange shirt covered with stitched pineapples, surfer girls and palm trees. I went very casual with faded blue jeans from Selected Homme and a pair of Prada driving shoes. Dior sunglasses and a Zara portfolio finished the look.

Who says you can't wear white after Labor Day?

Many people believe that a white suit is reserved for a summer BBQ or beach wedding, but by combing the suit with a peak lapel, it is instantly transformed into an everyday power suit that can even be worn to the office (depending on wear you work of course). This white suit from Zara is being worn with a Ben Sherman blue and white paisley printed shirt, a brown printed silk tie from Jacques Brit and a pocket square from Tiger of Sweden. Brown Marc Jacobs sunglasses finish the look.
