Rainy Springs Days In Versace

[Rain Coat] Versace [Blazer] Sisley [Shirt] Ralph Lauren [Jeans] Nudie Jeans
[Tie] Bottega Veneta [Portfolio] Zara [Shoes] G.H. Bass [Eyeglasses] Tods

There are few things that we can’t control in life and unfortunately the weather is one of them. Spring is notorious for rain and it looks like this year it will be no different. There are a few ways to fight off the damp weather. The number one option is and always will be the umbrella. It’s something we all own and guarantees us a dry upper body. The classic mac and trench coats are also a stylish way to stay dry and warm. The third option available to us is some kind of protective waterproof outerwear such as my nylon jacket from Versace. I remember reading once that colorful rain coats should only be worn with casual outfits, but in the last few years that has slowly been changing. It’s now considered acceptable to wear a bright yellow rain coat (or in my case blue) over your suit. As long as the coat is tailored perfectly to your body and is long enough to cover your suit jacket then you will be stylish and standing dry among all the wet commuters. What do you guys think about wearing such a bold piece of outerwear?

A Lot Of Lines

[Down Vest] Aquascutum [Shirt] Dsquared2 [Tie] Ben Sherman [Gloves] Bottega Veneta
[Shoes] Loake [Sunglasses] Dior

In the winter layering up is easy. All I have to do is choose one of my overcoats and grab a scarf and I’m instantly prepared to fight off the cold. However, when the spring comes it becomes more challenging. I know there are a variety of light weight spring jackets and coats out there such as the mac and cotton bomber, but today I will present to you another outwear garment that is far too often overlooked. The down vest is a great alternative to heavier coats when the spring time comes. It, just like an overcoat, can easily be worn with a suit and tie, and it really gives off a young and modern vibe. This particular one from Aquascutum is in a dark grey shade but there are plenty of bright and colorful versions out there that look just as great. For the rest of the outfit I decided to stay within the grey family and wear a classic wool windowpane grey suit and accessorize with a grey glen check tie and grey gloves that I tucked away in my vest pocket to add a little detail to the outfit. What do you all think about this look?

The Simple Things In Life

[Watch] Daniel Wellington [Shirt] Karl Lagerfeld [Trousers] Hugo Boss [Blazer] Zara [Tie] Altea Milano
[Bracelet] Bottega Veneta [Shoes] Zara [Portfolio] Bottega Veneta [Sunglasses] Trussardi

We all have favorite brands and styles. Some of you sneakerheads may be obsessed with Jordans and I know there are people out there who can never have a big enough watch collection. As for me I love mens tailoring, more specifically double breasted suits and blazers. I could honestly wear one everyday and never get bored of them. In many of my looks you will notice that I’m wearing single breasted blazers and thats only because it's very difficult to find slim fitting double breasted jackets. Many of them are boxy with low arm holes and just all around not good enough. However the blazer I’m wearing today fits perfectly and is one of my favorite pieces that I own. I wore it with a pair of light grey trousers and a white shirt and accessorized with a cream printed tie and my Bottega Veneta Portfolio.

After I put on my  Daniel Wellington watch I was ready to head out and conquer the day. If you're still looking for your go to watch then head over to danielwellington.com and check out their products. Make sure to use the discount code DW_mimosas to save 15% off your order. I hope you find something you like.

Checkmate: David Beckham Modern Essentials

[Blazer] Theory [Shirt] Patrize Pepe [Trousers] H&M x David Beckham [Tie] Olymp
[Shoes] Mango [Bracelet] Bottega Veneta [Sunglasses] Trussardi

Last week I wore brown and the more I look at that outfit the more I realize brown just isn’t for me. Possibly a pair of brown trousers would be fine but a chocolate blazer just did not work. The color of my blazer today is much lighter than brown but still in the same color family. This shade is much more my thing. I love how it can be paired easily with my favorite colors, blue, grey and white. The outfit is quite simple like most of my outfits but these pants from the H&M Modern Essentials Collections Selected by David Beckham add a little detail as well as the matching tie and shoe soles. Let me know what you think <3

Brown In Town

[Blazer] Neill Katter [Sweater Vest] Fred Perry [Shirt] Ben Sherman [Jeans] Maison Martin Margiela
[Tie] Jack Spade [Shoes] Pollini [Sunglasses] Marc Jacobs

Brown is a color that you will almost never see me wearing. Apart from shoes and accessories my wardrobe contains very little brown. I have two brown suits as well as two blazers and a few trousers. For the most part they stay tucked away in my closet but for todays look I decided to pull one out. This particular blazer is actually a beautiful piece with large peak lapels, patch pockets and brass buttons. I wore a cricket sweater vest under the blazer which kept me warm enough and allowed me to leave my coat at home. I’m also wearing one of the newest additions to my shoe collection. These stunning Pollini Shoes are truly a work of art. I'd love to know what you think? Have a great weekend everyone!
