Traveling through America or Europe is exciting but in all honesty not that interesting. Sure you see the famous sights and are exposed to new things but they are really not that different from home. Over the last few years I have becoming increasingly bored with the western lifestyle. I’m living in a world that has lost so much of it’s culture, a world filled with people who hate their jobs, eat so they are not hungry and wear clothes because public nudity is frowned upon. That’s why I was incredibly happy to travel to China earlier this month and learn more about the Chinese culture that I have recently grown to love. There’s a lot that I have to say about the country, people and lifestyle but I’ll save that for another day. The point of todays post is the importance of trying and experiencing new things. Whether that be traveling to a new country, trying a new cuisine or even something as small as experimenting with your clothing style. As you can see my outfit today is far from my norm. I’m wearing the ultimate in luxury rain gear from Maison Margiela Paris. This coat is truly a piece of art and I couldn’t be more exciting to welcome it to my wardrobe and to continue experimenting with my style. But don’t worry suits and ties will always be a huge part of this blog. Stayed tuned for more coming soon.
