White Walls And Red Power Ties

[Blazer] Sottotono Uomo [Shirt] Dsquared [Tie] Valentino [Shoes] Puma [Sunglasses] Trussardi

It’s official, autumn is here. The days are slowly getting shorter and temperatures are dropping. I’ve been starting to pull my F/W clothing out of storage but I’m just not yet ready to say goodbye to my summer pieces. Because of this, I’ve thought of some good ways to incorporate warm weather pieces into an autumn outfit. The most important thing is to make sure that the colors are autumn appropriate. It’s not a good time to wear your bright red blazer or white seersucker suit. Blues, creams and pretty much anything in the neutral category are always safe. Next thing to think about are fabrics. I would probably keep anything linen at home but unstructured cotton garments can definitely be worn during the early autumn months. The best thing to do is to balance your outfit with both summer and autumn pieces. Try wearing a thicker tie with your light weight blazer and maybe some wool or heavy cotton pants to add texture. You can also accessorize with scarfs and socks to add a little more warmth to your outfit. Hope this helps!

Let Denim Be The Star

[Shirt] Dsquared [Trousers] Moschino [Scarf] Bottega Veneta [Loafers] Doucals
[Sunglasses] Trussardi [Watch] Daniel Wellington

Ok I’m just gonna say it. I love denim shirts. When we think of denim, jeans are often the first thing that comes to mind. We all have a pair and many of us probably wear them everyday. Denim jackets are equally famous within the menswear world for their masculine and rugged vibe. However; the versatility of a classic denim shirt should not be overlooked. They can be worn alone and used as the star of your outfit or be layered under a suit and tie to add the perfect touch of casualness to your workday look. I think that a slim-fit, mid-weight, medium washed denim shirt is the perfect piece to build an outfit around. If you're more adventurous or tend to dress more casually then you're not out of luck. Try finding a heavy-weight western version or even something pattern or acid washed. The possibilities are endless when it comes to denim shirts. If you don’t already have one of these year round essentials then you’re definitely missing out.

My Everyday Getup

[Shirt] B.D. Baggies [Blazer] Circolo 1901 [Trousers] Zara [Tie] Altea Milano [Shoes] Nobrand Official
[Sunglasses] Emporio Armani [Bag] Bottega Veneta

Bloggers are often misunderstood. We don’t just take photos and play dress up everyday. We take time planning our newest content whether it be for our blog or for a feature on another blog or brands website. We attend events and meetings, we scout locations, and of course we always have to stay up to date on the newest collections. We are lucky in a way because we don’t have a dress code. We can wear what we want, when we want, but for certain meetings it wouldn’t be appropriate to show up in a green dotted blazer, or bold checked suit. We want to appear professional, but in a creative way. Solid suit separates are a good way to do that. Here’s what I wore to a lunch meeting the other day as I met with a new brand that I’m excited to start a collaboration with. More to come on that in the next few weeks. There hasn't been much content lately but it will pick up soon. Enjoy the week!

The Man In Dots

[Blazer] Neill Katter [Shirt] Karl Lagerfeld [Trousers] Ben Sherman [Tie] Drakes
[Pocket Square] Ermenegildo Zegna [Sunglasses] Trussardi

It was a bright and sunny morning. I woke up, showered, picked out my outfit and headed out the door. I couldn’t have been walking for more then 2 minutes when an older woman stopped and said ‘That’s such an interesting blazer you’re wearing.” I smiled, said thank you and continued on my way. Minutes later I was stopped again and you can guess that the comments, smiles and in some causes laughter continued throughout the day. I knew this wasn’t your typical blue blazer but I didn’t expect it to receive as much attention as it did. It got me thinking that I’ve lost touch with reality. What is considered a normal garment to me was thought of as comical or haute couture to others. You have to understand that I think of clothing as not only a necessity but also a fun and interesting way to present myself. That’s why when I’m looking for new standout piece I go to Neill Katter first. Their designs are heavily influenced by classic Italian tailoring but made from the brightest and boldest fabrics available. Check them out before you start any of your F/W shopping.

Jimmy Choo Sandal Weather

[Sweater] Marni [Shirt] Dsquared2 [Trousers] Zara [Sandals] Jimmy Choo
[Sunglasses, Bag, Watch] Dappertime

Sandals are often thought of as feminine and I for the longest time agreed. That is until I found these beauties from Jimmy Choo. Black leather with camo detailing is about as masculine of a sandal as you can find. I wore them casually for a fun end of summer look. I finished off by accessorizing with black accessories from my friends over at Dappertime. Check them out for all your menswear accessory needs. I’d also like to wish you all a happy September. With the temperatures starting to cool off you can expect many more autumn outfits and lookbooks. I guess we all just need to accept the fact that it’s time to put away our linens and seersucker. Have a great week!
