My Thanksgiving Day Outfit

[Blazer] Zara [Sweater] Suitsupply [Pants] H&M [Pocket Square] Bottega Veneta [Shoes] G.H. Bass

Thanksgiving went as quickly as it came. It was a day filled with family and food but that’s never a reason to forget about the always important choice of fashion. I wanted to wear something that I was comfortable in but also made a bit of a statement. I knew this evening jacket would be the perfect piece because of it’s beautiful burnt orange color but I felt it was a little on the formal side. To tone it down I paired it with a turtleneck that’s much less formal than a shirt and bow tie, and a pair of grey wool trousers that aren’t necessarily as nice as black tuxedo pants but are definitely more appropriate for a dinner with family. Hope you guys like the outfit and all had a great Thanksgiving.

Creating The Perfect Sweater Look

[Sweater] Topman [Shirt] Ben Sherman [Pants] Zara [Bag] Dappertime [Sneakers] Clae
[Sunglasses] Glasses Shop [Bracelet] Botttega Veneta

Sweater weather is officially here and I’ve been living in them lately. They’re just so easy to style and the most comfortable thing you’ll ever wear. I’ve got a few favorite patterned pieces that I’m saving for colder weather but most of the time you’ll find me in a solid crew neck. I’d much rather accessorize to add a bit of originality to my look that have a statement sweater that does all the talking. This time in addition to accessories I wore cropped window pane trousers that are cut a bit more full than my normal slim fit style. I thought it’s a much better look than a pair of jeans or chinos. Don’t get me wrong I love denim but if you’re keeping things so simple up top it’s important to add something that's eye catching down low. That’s exactly why it was the perfect time for me to break out these new clean kicks from Clae. I’ve been living in Adidas Originals but these suit my style so much better than any white sneaker ever has. Hope you guys like the look.

The Tailored Denim Shirt Jacket

[Jacket] H&M [Blazer & Shoes] Zara [Pants] Moschino [Shirt] B.D. Baggies [Tie] Jack Spade

I’ve talked before about the shirt jacket or as I like to say shacket. It’s a fairly versatile piece that's mostly used in street wear and way too underutilized in tailored looks. I’m a strong believer in trying new layering techniques especially in the fall and winter seasons which is exactly what I’ve done here. I think it’s important to dedicate a little time every morning or evening to experiment with your clothes. I once thought that only a well tailored overcoat should be worn over a suit but now I’ll pretty much layer anything from down vests to cardigans over blazers. If you’re still looking for a denim jacket check out my denim jacket inspiration post that a I made last month. There you’ll find some of my favorite pieces and some different ideas on how to layer them. Hope you enjoy!

OAK Cufflinks And Kickstarter Campaign

We’re all stylish men here and we know that accessorizing properly is key to creating a complete look. Each accessory

should be planed carefully and in most cases fit in rather than stand out. Cufflinks are one of the few accessories that

are often hidden but when seen make a powerful statement. There are so many options out there but it’s best to choose

something with a story behind it and that’s exactly why I’m excited to introduce you guys to OAK Company.

Oak Company is a new brand currently looking for funding through their Kickstarter campaign. They’ve come up

with the awesome idea of making cufflinks out of a piece of oak which was carved from old whiskey barrels. It’s

products like this that really get me excited because in today’s age so many things are mass produced in

factories without care but that’s not the case with OAK cufflinks.

Each pair of cufflinks has a unique serial number that can be traced online to find all the details about which

barrel your cufflinks were made from. You’ll be able to see the age and even brand of whiskey and in the future

have to option to purchase whiskey from the same barrel your cufflinks were carved from.

Doesn’t that sound amazing? What better story to tell next time someone compliments you on your cufflinks. If

you’re as intrigued as I am then check out there Kickstarter campaign where you can read all about them and

back their project while being rewarded with a pair of beautiful cufflinks.

Disclosure: This post was written in collaboration with Oak Company. The opinions expressed are mine alone and are not influenced in any way.

Classic Fall Denim Look

[Blazer] Zara [Shirt] Dsquared2 [Jeans] LTB [Tie] Olymp [Socks] Pierre Cardin [Sunglasses] Glasses Shop

I mentioned last week that I’ve been really into green lately so here I am again rocking a more fall appropriate shade. This dark green blazer has been in my wardrobe for quiet sometime now and it still remains a favorite of mine. It has a slightly distressed feel to it which makes it the perfect match for a pair of dark wash jeans. I like to keep things simple like always with a solid white shirt and add a bit of detail in with my neckwear. Today’s tie is a thick wool piece from Olymp. If there's one thing I love about colder weather it’s that I can finally wear thicker fabrics again and this tie is the perfect example. Like the blazer its texture is a bit rough but when paired together it all just kind of works. Thanks for stopping by!

Green Denim Days

[Blazer & Shoes] Zara [Pants] H&M [Shirt] Club Monaco [Tie] Bottega Veneta [Sunglasses] Glasses Shop

I’m back and settled into a new apartment and can start pumping out posts like before. These photos were taken a while back when summer weather was starting to die down but I still think this outfit could be worn now. There’s something about green that I’ve been loving lately. You’ll see this in my next post as well. It’s just the perfect fall color. Even though this lighter shade of green is something I find more suitable for warmer months, I think with the right pieces it can look just as good in the fall (probably not winter). When styling anything green I always try to pair it with blues and browns. I never get tired of seeing these colors together and by playing around with prints and textures you’ll never run out of options. Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend.

Kenzo X H&M: The Day Is Here

It’s finally time for the Kenzo X H&M collection to drop in stores. We all know it’s crazy to get our hands on these piece

and if you’re not at one of the participating H&M stores early then you’ll be out of luck. Don’t be turned off from the

lookbook. Many of the pieces are actually very wearable and can be styled in a  multitude of ways. The bold zebra print

that is heavily used throughout the collection might be a bit of a challenge but many of the other sweaters and jackets

would probably fit right into your existing wardrobe. If you haven’t already seen the campaign then make sure to have a

look and write out your wish list before it’s too late.
