Ordering Glasses On

You guys have all seen me wearing glasses before because, well, I always wear them. Pretty much any time I leave the house I’ll have on either a pair of sunglasses or eyeglasses to help accessorize my outfits. Shopping for glasses online can be a bit of struggle and there are way too many websites with price that are honestly not worth it unless your shopping for designer pieces. That's why is where I go for all my glasses needs.

They specialize in prescription eyeglasses, and have a endless amount of styles and options to choose from. I for one have always been under the assumption that prescription glasses are unstylish. I was almost proven correct after walking into my corner eyeglass store. The selection was small and seemed extremely outdated but those are not the same styles you’ll find at Glasses Shop.

Shopping from them is quite simple. Browse their website and find your favorite style. The product page has all of the dimensions listed plus you can upload a headshot and see exactly how the glasses will look on your face. This takes away all the nerviness that comes along with online shopping because you can try on the product without ever actually touching it. Once you’ve decided on a pair of glasses you can go ahead and choose a lens type. They have single vision, which has only one magnification throughout the entire lens and are best used for reading or computer work. Multifocal which corrects near sightedness and far sightedness and the fashion lens which is a clear lens for those who want the look of eyeglasses but don’t need a prescription lens.

They also have a great selection of sunglasses and prescription sunglasses. I’ve chosen a few of my favorites down below. Make sure to take advantage of their Independence Day sale and use the code GS50 to get 50% off on your purchase of any frames.

Suit Separates For Warmer Days

[Blazer & Shoes] Zara [Vest] WE Fashion [Pants] The Kooples [Shirt] B.D. Baggies
[Tie] Drakes [Pocket Square] Suit Supply

Blazers of any kind are essential to me. Even in the summer heat there will be days when my stubborn style tells me that a blazer is a must. I like mixing things up with different patterns and colors especially in the summer when the fabrics get thinner an thinner, and I'm always on the look out for any eye catching blazers when shopping. I found this one and knew I had to have it. The color might not be the brightest or boldest but the texture is quiet stunning and it's a piece that matches with just about anything in my wardrobe. I think that blue of any shade works perfectly in the summer. You can see here that different shades all gel so well together making morning styling sessions super fast. I've been wearing a whole lot of blue lately and even have an all blue look coming soon so you can see the beauty of one simple color. Thanks as always for reading.

A Watch For Every Occasion [Lilienthal Berlin]

My watch collection has been growing over the past few months and I’ve discovered that every watch has it’s own purpose. Whether it be because of the color of the band or the complexity of the face itself every watch is unique and works best with a different style of clothing. This particular watch from Lilienthal Berlin was created with inspiration from the urban character of Berlin. If any of you have been to Berlin you would know that while being a beautiful modern city it has a certain amount of grunge and grit that is different from many other places. People do their own things and live by their own set of rules. They dress as they wish and live life to the fullest.

[Watch] Lilienthal Berlin [Dinner Jacket & Loafers] Zara [Tuxedo Pants] The Kooples [Shirt] Aquascutum
[Bow Tie] Tom Ford [Pocket Square] Bottega Veneta [Glasses] EyeBuy Direct

Making a watch for such a crowd may seems difficult but the creators at Lilienthal Berlin knew that simplicity is all that was needed to make a watch that is wearable for everyone. Because of the simplistic face and dials it’s one of very few that will work with whichever outfit you ask it to. I really put it to the test here going full formal and found it's the perfect timepiece for the job. But let’s be real here, most days you’re not wearing a tux or even a suit of any kind. Your style may be extremely casual or you might like a pop of color on your wrist and that’s exactly where the beauty of these watches are found. Every watch at Lilienthal Berlin is fully customizable not only with the band but also dial and case color resulting in a the piece that you’ll love and trust.

Distressed Bit Still Dressed

[Blazer] Iceberg [Jeans & Shoes] Zara [Shirt] Hockerty [Tie] Minimum

Apparently distressed jeans are becoming a favorite of mine. I find myself wearing them more and more especially on days off when I have nowhere important to go. I was originally turned off by distressed denim because of how most influencers wear them. It’s become the norm for guys to wear slim fit ripped jeans with a pair of Yeezys and a Tommy Hilfiger or Calvin Klein logo tee. It’s clean and looks fine but is in noway creative or original to ones-self. I will not criticize other influencers for how they dress but I want to show you other options and let you decide for yourself what direction you wish to go in when it comes to personal style. Here I’m doing my best to dress up these jeans as much as I can. I kept the blazer pretty casual and a knit tie also helps bring down the formality of a tie. I think going with a dress shoe or loafer would be too much so I wore my go to white kicks. If this isn’t a look for you I have a much more casual distressed denim look from last winter and I’m sure that there will be a few more looks coming very soon. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like it!

Summer Sock Game [Featuring Cooper & Jin]

Summers are hot, sometimes way to hot to handle. As the temperatures start rising I find myself wearing less and less. Polo shirts and light linen suiting start coming out and I try to shed as many layers as possible with hopes of staying cool. Socks are one of those things that I guarantee will be left off. Showing a little ankle will let in some air and make a stylish statement. You may have noticed that in most of my spring and summer looks I’m going sockless, but it’s actually all an illusion. I pretty much live in no-show socks. They are cut extremely low making them impossible to be seen even when wearing the lowest of loafers. These socks really help stop sweating and any rubbing preventing discomfort of any kind while still achieving that stylish no sock look. My favorites are from Cooper and Jin because they're made from a premium fiber that allows them to breath and they have a high quality silicon grip sewn on the heel preventing slippage. Apart from the standard black and white they also come in some really cool patterns such as camo and anchors. If you're not already rocking the sockless look with no show socks then you're really missing out. See some of Cooper & Jin's collection below or shop them online where they are available for only $12 a pair or $20 for a package of 2.

Tucked In Polo Shirt

[Polo] Alexander McQueen [Pants] Custom [Shoes] G.H. Bass [Bag & Watch] Dappertime

I’m ending the week with some summer style. I’ve actually been wearing a lot of color lately because warmer days and colorful clothing go hand in hand. Sure I'll continue to wear color but sometimes I feel more comfortable in darker shades and they're easier to style. When I originally put this look together I paired these glen check pants with a black T-shirt. I liked the idea but felt it was just a bit too boring so I ended up switching out the tee for a polo and am much happier with the result. The most important thing to do is to tuck in the shirt. An untucked tee or polo will look sloppy and unstylish but a simple tuck will transform the outfit creating clean lines and will actually make you appear taller. I was going for a city outfit so I went with dark colors but you could wear a colored polo to make it pop even more or go with the classic white pants and blue polo shirt look. It's perfect for any spring or summer day. Thanks for reading!

Stylish Glasses For The Computer Addict

I wear eyeglasses not because I need to but because I feel that they add a certain amount of style and elegance to an outfit. That was at least until I discovered Felix Grays and their lenses that filter blue light. If you’re like me then you’re always starring at a computer or phone screen but had no idea the damage it's causing. Electronic screens emit a high energy light called blue light which has been linked to eye strain, macular cellular damage and even sleep cycle disruption. Felix Grays lenses filter blue light preventing damage and making us feel much safer throughout our day. I will admit that I was a bit unsure at first because tech related products aren’t exactly known for being fashionable but I was pleasantly surprised with Felix Grays 15 stylish options such as the Turning in a horn finish that I’m wearing here. They’ve now turned into my favorite pair of glasses and have the added bonus of preventing digital eye strain.

The All-Season Camo Shirt

[Shirt] Neill Katter [Jeans] Nudie Jeans [T-Shirt] Zara [Belt] Gucci [Sunglasses] Suit Supply

I’ve worn this camo shirt a few times before, even once last fall paired with a blazer and tie. Camo is always a print that I find myself going back to because I just love the statement that it makes. Some might say it’s out of style which may be true because it really peaked as a trend in 2015 and has since slowly found itself being left out of new collections but with brands such as Valentino still pushing camo I don’t see it falling entirely out of style anytime soon. I don’t know where my inspiration came form for this outfit because it’s definitely not how I normally style myself. I thought with the oversized Gucci belt and white undershirt that it was unintentionally vintage but others said with the white sneakers and slim fit jeans that it is a spot on 2017 look. Most of my looks aren’t inspired by anyone or any specific idea so I guess we’ll just say that it’s me. I'd also love to know what you think about my hanging iPhone case. It's not very useful because most of the time my phone is just in my hand but I think it adds a bit of uniqueness to the outfit that I just love. Thanks for stopping by and have  great week.

Feeling Springy In Pink

[Shirt] Club Monaco [Blazer & Shoes] Zara [Jeans] The Kooples [Watch] Daniel Wellington

I live in a city and this blazer might be meant for lunch in the Maldives but that doesn’t mean I can’t wear it. Actually maybe I shouldn’t wear it especially not with white pants and floral sneakers but it's just too beautiful to leave hanging in the closet. I decided to wear a dark blue shirt with it to add contrast and help tone it down a bit for the city. I finished off with a few wrist accessories and a cool pair of blue tinted sunglasses that really helped bring the whole look together. I know some of you might think a double breasted blazer is a statement on its own and in this bold of a color it’s almost as if I’m screaming for attention but I think when styled simplistically, such in this look, that it’s not that powerful of a statement. I hope you guys like the look and I'd love to know what you think.
